Therapy wraps and eye pillows can be used to help soothe a variety of aches and
pains. You can keep one in the freezer to use for cold therapy, or toss one in
the microwave if heat it what you need. Each set comes with heating and cooling
instructions. The wrap is approximately 21" x 5.5" and the eye pillow is
approximately 10" x 4"
What are you getting?
For my inserts, I
use a muslin cotton fabric filled with flax seed. The neck & shoulder wrap
inserts are divided into 3 sections to allow for even distribution and to avoid
you having to deal with the annoyance of the flax seed all gathering to one
side. My eye pillow inserts are divided into 2 sections for this same purpose.
Each wrap and eye pillow comes with a beautiful 100% cotton, removable and
washable cover! Yay! Who wants to use something over and over without being able
to wash it?
Why flax seed?
There are various filler options out
there and they all work. Although it's a bit more pricey than other options I
prefer flax seed for many reasons. Flax seed is filled with 30-40% oil (instead
of water) so it doesn't dehydrate when used over and over. Also, flax seed is
more light-weight, more flexible, and odorless; so doesn't smell like a food
when you microwave.
Aromatherapy anyone?
Would you like some
aromatherapy with that? I like having options, which is why I have created mini
herb filled muslin bags that can easily be inserted into the removable covers
and heated up with your wrap or eye pillow. By using the mini aromatherapy
inserts (versus having the herb actually mixed in with the flax seed) you're not
stuck with just one scent. You can buy multiple scents and switch them out!
